They stay where they’ve always been, in a folder on your computer. The app needs an active subscription to open, but the photos, documents, and reports are ordinary files you keep, along with any bundles you’ve exported.

If you already pay for Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT, Ask AcrossTown can use that account instead, with web search and images.
Credits are a dollar balance. Each question is charged what the AI models actually cost to answer it, and the app shows an estimate (for example “~$0.04, up to $0.12”) before you send. Asking several models at once costs the sum of each, and if one model fails you’re charged only for what ran. AI Plus is $14.99 a month including the Individual plan. It unlocks GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, and Grok 4 and gives you $6 of credits every month. Credits reset each billing period and don’t roll over.
Yes. Each person on a Team plan has their own AI credits, and anyone can add AI Plus for themselves for $5 a month. Their credits and models follow them in every team they belong to.
